The game seems to run very smoothly with this beta driver
well it certainly does on a 7600GT(256)AGP type card..!! :woot:
(**you have to be careful with beta's, though - they sometimes wipe out
your 3D management settings..)
- and well, anyway you have to be adventurous occasionally..
- I've opened the AGP aperture to 512mb and running the game at 8x a/a and 8x a/f
- high performance via 17in CRT at 85Hz - res1024x768 looks great..
- any higher and things start getting s bit too small on my 17in CRT
- I'm really chuffed with the card's performance, it gives
out some really vibrant colours, and shading..
- during the squabble with Valdis' Archmage, he uses some amazing looking spells and curses
I couldn't see the intricacy of the graphics before - it's really quite amazing!
- Using the X key as a continuous pointer/trailer-type thingy allows you
to get your party into some really tight places and with a really
smooth floaty feel to the controls.... nice!
- Lady Femmes Camera Mod never looked so good before..!!
