No snow at all. Sad

Wind and rain here as well.

No snow on the ground now, was one of the warmest Decembers on record. Like global warming is not real. 16 of the last 18 months have been above normal temps. So far this year we have only had about 4 inches of snow.

Very odd for this time of year, but we got barely a dusting here in Mass yesterday. That was the most snow yet this season. Weeiiirrrdddd....
But at least I don't have to shovel.

Strange, we just got around 12 inches dumped on us......

Jealous...I am so jealous. Of course I want snow now, but as soon as I would have to shoevel I would be complaining.

Finally had some real snow last night / today (not much, but it's covering the ground in a sheet of white). It actually looks like winter outside now...

Bleah, just a bunch of ice and sleet here...

Heh we got snow for three days so it really looked like winter, and I guess it started melting away last night. So much is already gone this morning - not happy.. Sad

On Sunday night/Monday morning we got a couple inches of snow and it is doubtful it will melt away right away. It was about -10F out this morning.

We seem to have a continued arctic airmass overhead at the moment, it is keeping the temps low, so our massive snowbanks are still standing. Smile

I am glad to see that some people have a lot of snow. Smile

Grrr. Stupid snow. I barely got home tonight, went about 20mph the whole way on the freeway, then when I got home I ended up having to park out on the street, as did a couple others at my apartment as we couldnt even get up the small hill into the apartment parking lot. And even if I could have I would have had to try to park in a spot in the lot as the snow was a good 2 feet in the path into the under the apartment parking that I would use. Probably should have stayed home I guess but when I went out about 2pm there was not even 1 inch on the ground, now when I left for home about midnight there was 1 foot plus and hardly anything was plowed.

Yikes.

It seems like winter is making up for lost time. We had about 5 inches Thursday night, but it was nice light fluffy snow. Not like last week, when we got double that amount of heavy wet snow. The kind that is a pain to shovel.

Grrr, we are supposed to have another foot or so of snow starting this afternoon/evening through Friday. Traffic will really be crappy for the morning and evening to and fro from work.

Why is that...

Snow stops you getting home from work, but not getting there in the first place?

If you want it at the weekend, so you can ski/sledge/board on it, it comes on Monday?

If you don't want it at the weekend, because you're going out somewhere, that's when it snows at the weekend?

It only melts, so it can re-freeze as ice?
