I certainly hope it will be good, because it would renew interest in the Dungeon Siege games, which might encourage GPG to put out a DS3. If they just put out another console game, I'll be radically disappointed and annoyed. The real appeal of Dungeon Siege is in the potential for modding (or, for those who don't mod, the potential for getting mods), and somehow I don't think modding would be very easy (if even possible) for console games.
I'm not saying the games are not fun as they are, but the mods, siegelets, additional maps, etc add even more appeal, because they offer endless possibilities (okay, maybe *almost* endless) and additional options for players. Modability makes a game eternal, as long as the hardware and OS continues to support the software (are you listening, GPG?).
I'm hoping/wishing/praying for a good movie doing justice to one of my favorite games.
We can always hope...
yay!
- it sure looks promising.
- good casting, and some great camera-work

..never mind the weather, just as long as we're together!
I'll bring the popcorn....^^

Cheese popcorn? (If so, don't forget your gloves...) :P
Yep, gloves and cheese popcorn.
