Firefox v4...

Sharkull's picture

I just installed the update, and wow... different. I'm trying Tabs On Top to see if I like it, but I'm a big user of the Bookmarks Toolbar and it kind of gets in the way when I do that. I've put my bookmarks listing down in the Add-On Bar for now (where the status bar used to be... now status updates are dynamic without dedicated screen space).

All this (including hiding the menu bar entirely) greatly increases the screen space available for web page content, which I'm really liking so far.

Anyone else trying the new Firefox?

Didn't know there was a new version till I saw this. Installed, and I like the setup. Much cleaner and still easy to use and navigate the web. Smile

I didn't like the bookmarks on the bottom of the screen... I just couldn't get used to them there so I rearranged my Bookmarks menu, and now use the list drop-down from a button instead of the dedicated toolbar.

And I just spotted the new version yesterday myself... I think it's really quite new (although it was in Beta for a significant amount of time). I'm liking things so far... seems faster (and App Tabs are a cool feature).
