Renaming Nodes in Siege Editor:Help!

shadow smile's picture

My team and I would like to start our world but everthing is unorganized and diffucult to tell what is what in Siege Editor 2. I tried renaming a object. When i quit It ask "save to favorites"and i said yes. But today I get on and Its no where to be found. Help! Do i have to modify the bit map?

I haven't had much luck with this either...just got used to where all the nodes were...doesn't take long.. most stuff you'll use for general terrain is in generic/natural that covers rock walls, floor, water, and a few other things.

Well it diffucult to find other nodes other than terrain nodes. Just other things such as objects. So it can be organized without making a new folder.

I just found a search feature a couple days ago (Object - Content Search)... very helpful. Too bad it's only for Objects (not Nodes).

You can add nodes to your favorites folders for organization. Wrote a tut on it in an old version of ds2tk. I think they fixed some of the issues I explained in this tut. http://std.seijsing.se/forums/viewtopic.php?t=134 . It's on actors but the same principle applies. With nodes you can just right click from the folders they are in rather than having to place them.
