Anything New Coming for the new year?

One of the reasons that Siege Network did so well was that it looked really good. The theme, I mean. Just the "feel" of it made people confortable. I'm not saying the StD doesn't have it....it just lacks in it.

Well it's like nothing is going on with the site improvement. I know we have other things to do outside of the computer but, their our other people who our probably people who would help and it sounds like SiegetheDay is inactive not many people come here. Even Siege Network gets more commotion than this site. I also agree with loneknight about the look and feel. But, it more than lacks it.

On that note. I'm gonna mess around with the site a bit so the theme might be changed to the default one while I get things set up.
Hopefully nothing will blow up.

About that. My host doesn't want me to host big files for download. I was gonna pay for additional space and bandwidth just for mods but since I don't have as much money as I used to I don't think I can afford it right now. Too many expenses and me being a student and all. I am trying to work something out with gamespy however.

If you know someone reliable willing to donate space and bandwidth for mods please let me know.

Edit: Nothing blown up yet, I had to set all users to use the default theme though. You can change that in your profile however, to the right of "Board style". Simply choose Artemis red if you prefered the old theme.

Everything should look normal again. Let me know if there are any problems.

Made the first upgrade amongst many to the site.
Don't want to reveal them all incase things don't work out,
but besides the new theme there is a new portal that is close to completion.
It of course has the mandatory feature called a shoutbox.

Oh and a small news that probably no one cares about - we are getting downloads!
If you bump into Interested2 go ahead and give him a kiss for donating the space.

I would also like to thank the rest who have stepped forward and offered to donate space and time.

Ahem, I'm finding it hard to get the new portal done, lack of time mostly, so if you good folks have a mod you want hosted you can send me a pm and we'll put it with Sharkull's fine map.
