DS Screenshot movie?

By typing "+movie" into the console, you start a movie at 30 fps, but all I get is hundreds of .bmp screenshots...
They are all consecutive and if you view them as a slide show (clicking furiously!), they do form a flowing film, but can these be edited together into a movie?

Has anyone got any tips on the further use of this hidden feature?

- would I need to convert them all to GIF format first, and is there a software program that can blend these images together into a moving film?

I used Paint Shop Pro 6, and then now Paint Shop Pro 9 and used the animation shop that comes with both. You can make avi's, mpg's, gif's, and a few other formats.

The more memory your computer has the better when doing this however. If you are running slower memory and only 256mb or 512mb you may not be able to do a full video if you use all 1000 images. But you may be able to may 2 or 3 videos then merge them.

firebat's picture

take a look in the www.own-age.com forum, there are a lot of game movies there (most of them from shooters) and there are a lot of links to tutorail how to make a movie from pictures...
