Light and Dark Naiads

Hey, I'd like to know if there is anything that allows me to feed a Dark and Light Naiads to maturity without the size increase.. it really annoys me a very big naiad, i like them as small as a pixie/fairy. so is there anything ? >_< thanks in advance.

Hi Leohoshi,

By design all pets grow as they increase in strength and power. There is nothing you can feed them that will prevent them from growing as they get more powerful. Someone would have to make a modification to prevent this from happening. I would do it but I do not have the skills necessary to make this kind of mod, I am not even sure if it can be done at all because every pet mod I have ever seen the pets always get bigger. I guess you could not feed them Smile

Elf

hehe
this could be modded by changing \Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Mod\Bits\world\global\pet_dark_naiad.gas and pet_light_naiad.gas

all scale = lines to

scale = 0.5;

and the 2 files tanked at a higher priority than the game

I see... I don't know anything about modding or tanking but I Think this could be the time to learn. I will try Wink

I can't do it, I tried.. I can't find pet_dark_naiad.gas and pet_light_naiad.gas directory, and the modding programs seens pretty complicated at first, but thanks anyway ^^

at least you tried. i will try to come out of modding retirement and make this mod for you, but only if you test it for me once its done.

Well I was sitting around with nothing to do so I decided to test the same size Naiad Mod because I could purchase both on my test map and then feed one of them until they could eat no more. I chose to feed the Dark Naiad and let the poor Light Naiad go hungry. The result was both Naiads where exactly the same size. Nice work Dark Elf.

awe nice to see em working, also if any other pets need done, they can be done also by changing their scale. have to agree those naiad were quite large at adult size.
