Tank Creator will not compile on Windows 7

Hi I can't get Tank Creator to compile things into a DRES. It's supposed to pop up a little black box and make the file appear but nada, clicking on the button does absolutely nothing.

Yes I've tried compatibility modes and all that, never ever works for me as in this case the program still won't compile. Worked great on Windows XP but I don't have it anymore. If I can't find a solution I'd really love to know if someone would be willing to do the compiling? It's a pretty small mod it shouldn't be take to long to send in a .zip.

It's so extremely annoying that I can't just do it myself, maybe I should invest in Virtual Box with WinXP loaded on it.....

Follow this link and download Rapid Tank Creator 2. It works with windows 7 and windows 8. It allows you to compile either a ds1/loa [dsres] or a DS2/BW [ds2res] I have been using it for several years and I know it works for both dsres and ds2res files on windows XP, Windows 7 and windows 8

follow this link to the file http://www.siegetheday.org/?q=node/1437

You can also create a dsres file with the Siege Editor. It's under file > save folder as .dsmod. Then select your folder for source folder and destination file for the folder you want to send it to. Just type in mymod.dsres after selecting all in the drop down menu while selecting destination file. You could also save it as a .dsmod and change the extension to dsres (the compilation is the same).
