Someone tell me what the community is up to these days

So I very recently have become a little curious as to whether or not the DS community is still kicking defiantly, and if so what you guys have been up to in terms of projects/modding

I've been gone for so long though I'm a bit dazed and confused....

So if someone could give me the scoop on modding/projects that'd be appreciated.

just go click on recent posts under Site on the left hand side will see most of the recent stuff.

if looking for map projects I would say that the mapping is gone with exception to ds2 legendary stuff

I have a secret desire to import ds2 to ds1 but converting dds to raw will take a while.

There are some on going projects in both DS1 and DS2. Lots of new ideas for mods and new member questions so it is keeping us busy. As Darkelf suggested look through the recent posts.

I am creating a map for DS 1 actually, even thought it is long from finished. It currently has 4 regions and takes you to lvl 5 or so. I cannot work on it much because of my school thought

...once upon a time, some people started a really remarkable project, called 'Dawn of Aranna'.
At that tine, I only was a tester interested in this project. Recently however, I was stating that there is a test folder on an old PC exceeding the currently available content of Dawn of Aranna.

Generally, it was quite a pity to see the project fade out, but...

... though not necessarily for the lack of wanting to. Dungeon Siege for some reason started to freeze, so I can't play or record it. I was super close to beating Legends of Aranna for my YouTube channel... but yeah.

reinstalled DS1 and LOA on my new windows ten machine and was pleasantly surprised to see they both work fine! I've heard people have had issues getting it to run on newer machines.

Anyway yeah just popping in again to download mods and stuff, currently trying to convert one of my friends and get him to try DS1 since he's all about old hack n slash games.

thanks for keeping the site up though, idk where I'd go for patches/mods/etc if this place ever went down.

I was going to mess with skrit, but having issues with DSII on my machine. Maybe I'll try making some new spells on another machine after I'm not so busy. Has anyone got DSII to work on Linux by any chance?
