Death of a hero, loss of a siegelet

I was just brushing up on old threads from Siege Network, and I was wondering what ever became of DSoR (Darker Shades of Red). After Eccentricity died, it went poof. Was it ever in any working form, and what was done?

Just that curiousity that drives us.

Bare Elf would know the most about it. I think she might have some of the design docs. Other than that no work was done to my knowledge.

I know some game objects like, meshes and textures, and music were made. And the story of course. Charels sent me some teaser once in a while but unfortunately I didn't keep any of it.. Seemed really promising.

However this is what I do remember. The mod was more or less dropped prior to Charles passing because of problems we have all encountered trying to mod DS2. There where other issues for it being dropped that I shall not go into. Some parts of the project still exist like the music and meshes but they are scattered across the world with the various team members. To get the team reassembled would require a great deal of money and the removal of several team member egos. So let rest the mod and its creator. Should Charles either return from the dead or visit me in the sprite room in the castle of tears I will ask him what more I can say without making problems for the living.

Ah, I see. Treading lightly, then. I was moreso interested in what he had gotten done for a possible story and such, as it was highly based on DS2's story, what with Azunai fighting Zaramoth. Thanks, Bare.

It remains to be seen if DS can rise back from its ashes and dissociates from DS2 and GPG.

Please, let it rest.

I am sure there was not really anything done on this anyway. Lots of talk I am sure but lots of no action as well.
