It's a Boy!

:welcome: I'd like to announce that we've a new edition to the family. Yesterday my wife delivered Emmanuel Gabriel Ryan, 7 lb 1 oz or 3.28kg.

Both mother and baby are doing fine and should be home tomorrow. All would be fantastic but I came home this morning to find that the hot water service is kaput. Oh well, it doesn't compare with having good health of your loved ones.

An Idea

I was thinking about making some item that could be used by any character class -- I now know how to do this.
It is a simple change to the gui section of any template.
Add or change the line use_class = IST_ALL;
change the equipment requirement from whatever to uber equip_requirements = uber:#item_level - 2.0;

I have tested this with several ranged weapons, melee weapons, and armor items. Not sure if it would be useful, who knows.

This is how I'm feeling right about now. Since I got the new Hard-drive for my Computer (Nothing special, just a humble 250 Gigs. It's ONLY for my games anyway.)

I've been overhauling my three computers.

Micromanaging

Someone suggested Pillars of Eternity on my last blog, and I noticed from initial scanning of Google Images it looked like a.. Next-Gen type of DS, I suppose. Same game play style.
Then I watched the Angry Joe Review, If you haven't seen Angry Joe by the way, you'll love him, just search him up on Youtube.

Broken World.

ACTUALLY beat Broken World for the first time. Holy crap. I got pretty far before, but I don't think I managed to defeat the second surgeon and I gave up. I didn't appreciate challenge in games 2 years ago as much as I do now. And it wasn't until recently I dedicated the time to it.
I feel pretty accomplished. See, Dungeon Siege isn't actually that difficult of a game, all things considered. It's fair, and although there may be your odd balancing issue or difficulty curve, it's generally pretty consistent.

I am going to scream

I was having an issue over the last few days on one of my computers where 99% of all male characters suddenly developed Silver Bodies. Did not matter if I were playing Vanilla DS2, Broken World or Adepts. The large and old were not impacted. So most Inn Keepers and Armor Vendors where okay. I removed all the mods from DS2 and the problem went away for Vanilla DS2 but not Broken World or Adepts. I had no mods installed in Broken World so could not remove any mods. Knowing the order of things. DS2 does not read BW or Adepts directories but Broken World uses DS2 Resources and Maps.

confused again

The multi-player version of DS1 is the Utrean Peninsula. Legends of Utrae is a single player version of the Utrean Peninsula. So why would someone wish to play the single player version of the multi player game in multi player?
