It could also be a three letter word in the English language that does not change its pronunciation when two letters are taken away? Now everyone get in line. Along the same lines (giggle) How many words in the English language that start with Q do not have a following U in them? Most scrabble players will know the answer.
No sure whether it's really that way, but isn't it when you take ueue from queue?
I think it is queue as well. I'm getting in the Q to answer this one.
