Thanks to Wizardo55 for the last SiegeTheDay one!

Well, now, who wants to start *in announcer voice* ANOTHER QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS BOARD? Cool (that was a question BTW)

Templarian Arch Sorcerer's picture

Loup_Ombrage's picture

A rhombicosidodecahedron, maybe.

And I haven't yet worked out how to play freecell but my high score on 3d Pinball is over 4 million :P

Your favourite luck/chance game? (i.e. gambling games, dice games etc)

Favorite gambling game?

Poker, especially when I get a flush! :P
Q.) would you consider going to a casino? (I am too cheap)

A: casino's are for mugs..

Q: who's the indian guy with Maurice?

Quote:
Q: who's the indian guy with Maurice?

A.) lol, that is his little sock puppet, friend. I don't think it has a name, but it"talks" (creepy).BTW, in case anyone is curious, that little picture actually looks a lot like me. You can tweak it quite a bit. Smile /me is such a dork.

*edit* I realized after posting this what you really meant...Here is the deal. "Maurice" came with the other guy's hand attached erm you know where and he has never been able to get rid of him since. Wink ...Sorry, I am very overtired lately.

Q.) What is the last movie you saw?

Templarian Arch Sorcerer's picture

first of all : congrats to loup for guessing the name of it perfectly :P

A: Ice Age 2, the meltdown. Wink

Q:Which of these special abilitys would you rather have?
1: conjure a flaming whip at any time (damage 10-16 physical, 20 -72 fire)
2: summon an elder frost elemental 3 times a day (4187 HP, 1425 Armor)
3: release a wave of energy that throws everyone around you 25 feet and does 50 points of damage

My answer:

So...been a long time since we had a quiz...

What flavor "Eggo" are you?

http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=152725&first=yes

Templarian Arch Sorcerer's picture

plain. :?

How cute are koalas? rate 1-100.

(i think 100)

Quote:

A.) Very cute, about an 88. I think kangaroos are about a 92, though.

Q.) Throwing caution to the winds she asked:
How cute am I? Wink rate 1-100 (and NO zeros!!) Laughing out loud

A.) bleah, I say 35 :o

Q.) What is your oddest pet peeve?

( I have to have the sponge I wash dishes with standing upright when not in use, otherwise I imagine all sorts of germs accumulating on it...)

LoneKnight's picture

A. Someone knocking on a door (unless I am knocking on the door).

Q. Is your hometown rural or developed?

A: rural

Q: is humanity destroying the planet, or is the planet destroying humanity...??

shadow smile's picture

A: Humanity just because earth was fine before we came but the human has the ability to adapt. The Earth does not. Only because humans( what I think without religion added in) were never really spost to be here in the first place.

Q: What alternative fuel do you think will work the best and why?

Templarian Arch Sorcerer's picture

Hydrogen. It is just about everywhere (3/4 of the earth is covered in water that h2 can be extracted from). It is enviroment friendly (the waste product given off by the engine is pure water). It will be cheap, considering its abundence.

Q: Does anyone else think that this smily should not be called "razz" " :P " It looks more like a "slurp" or "funny" Wink

LoneKnight's picture

How about razzy?

I'd like to tell Shadow Smile that the Earth does adapt, but in ways much slower than humans. On the global scale, humans have been around for an unfathomably short time. Also know how much the earth changes on the global scale, creating mountains, continents, changing climates, etc.

And we all know that nature always wins. Hence, Hurricane Katrina.

Q. Do you think we will ever discover an alien race? And how would we treat them?

LoneKnight wrote:

A.) You know, I'd like to think we would treat them well, but we cannot even treat members of our own species decently, not to mention animals. So, unless the alien race is more advanced than ours, I don't think they would have much chance.

Q.) How do you think the earth will end? Will we just blow ourselves up?

Sharkull's picture

The earth will end when our sun goes super-nova, or a really big asteriod collides with it... :P What will happen to humanity? I don't have a clue, but I hope that we advance our technological abilities to the point where colonizing space on a large scale is feasible...

TAS,
I agree with you about Hydrogen Smile , but until issues of production (separation from O) and volitility / storage are addressed, I think fuel cells will be our best portable energy solution. Perhaps H + fuel cells are the next step... after ethanol + fuel cells of course.

How much more would you be willing to pay (your own money) for a 100% environmentally friendly vehicle? 5%, 10%, 50%, double... or a set $ amount? (Currently the "green" automotive technologies are more expensive... try to answer the max you'd be willing to pay just to help the environment).

A: how about the horse and cart - that's environmentally friendly..
http://www.epa.gov/emissweb/

Q:What inventions would we better off without..?
(- apart from the H bomb, of course!)

Sharkull's picture

Computer viruses.

(...and you missed the point of my question entirely... :? ...plus horse and cart would be immensely impractical in cities and over very long distances).

Would you rather have one very good friend, or many casual acquaintances?

Quote:

A.) One good friend. Acquaintances are fun if you just want someone to do stuff with or hangout, but (to me) nothing beats the sharing and intimacy of a true friend.

re: buying a "green" car, I would love to pay whatever it takes to purchase one, but I have to work within the very strict confines of my budget. If I could buy such a vehicle for under $20,000 (US dollars) I would.

Q.) What is your favorite outdoors warm weather activity?
( I love to swim!)

Templarian Arch Sorcerer's picture

None! I like to sit in my dark office cubicle in my room and mod, game, etc.

Q: What REALLY drives you insane? 8O

A: cars - they should be taxed to death... they are killing the planet!

Q: When was the last time you used the bus...??

Sharkull's picture

Last week... (but only because I don't own a car right now).

(and "the planet" is not alive... it is just a platform where life can thrive).

If you never had to earn an income to live comfortably, how would you fill your days? Would you work at a job, be a volunteer, sit on a beach somewhere... (something else)?

A: I'd paint

Q: who's your favourite painter?

PS: - the planet is alive - and it's in pain - I've heard it, crying on the wind...!!

blondin's ghost.. wrote:

Q: who's your favourite painter?

A.) Well, Waterhouse is one of my favorites, but I like many others. Like Steinlen.

Q.) Who wants a cookie?

blondin's ghost.. wrote:

I tend to agree with this, but the planet is only as alive as the life it supports. With pollution and other abuses going on unchecked, I think that we all should stop and think about what we can do to help...

Loup_Ombrage's picture

I would like a cookie! (or biscuit, in places like England and Aussie and NZ)

What is your favourite kind of cookie/biscuit?

Sharkull's picture

Maple cream!

A very romantic sentiment, but not literally true. The preservation of a habitable enviroment is vitally important, which the sentiment here communicates well, but the planet is made up of rock & lava... which is not alive.

What's your favorite vegetable?

Sharkull wrote:

Wow, alot of them, luckily for me, as that is what I eat the most of. Broccoli is maybe the favorite (except cookies, of course... Wink )

What is one of your idiosyncrasies?
(For example, I never put my shoes away. The living room is home to slippers, boots, sandals and sneakers. But maybe that is just being a slob.)

Templarian Arch Sorcerer's picture

I always leave the lights on. My mother is always telling me to turn them off when i leave the room. :P

Q: In jedi terms, are you more dark or light side? (I am a somewhat dark)

Probably more light.

Q: If life was like a video game what would you be like.
