Chicken Fingers?

A friend sent me a recipe for Chicken Fingers! First of all chickens do not have hands so how can they have fingers? Second if a chicken's fingers are like chicken toes there is no meat on them. I read the recipe and it is like chicken tenders strips of chicken battered and fried. No fingers at all! My friend needs to have his head examined blogs: |

silly that is just a name nothing more
Fish Fingers came first. Birds Eye Fish Fingers that is. Just think. Well if the archerfish has hands - which it must do, surely, to be an archer, though where it gets the bow and arrows from I cannot imagine - then why not the birdseyefish? (So named because its eyes are like birds', I guess, whatever the difference between a bird eye and a normal fish eye may be.)
Seriously though, chickens do have fingers, according to Wikipedia: "The bones of three fingers are preserved in the bird's wing. The question of which fingers they are has been discussed for about 150 years ..."
Makes me think of Fish Sticks. Where do fish get sticks? I'm told to "Trust the Gorton's Fisher Man" but is he a reliable source? He doesn't even have a first name...
Anyway, better chicken fingers than chicken feet. Yick.
Now I re... I say, I resemble that remark.
My mind is foggy about which ones but I believe that most members of the animal kingdom, as RSimpkinuk57 said about the chickens, the visible limbs are indeed figures, such as dolphin fins.
I would like to wish everyone here a Happy ThanksGiving.
And remember to eat more turkey.
I would have liked to have done it on Elf's Thanksgiving blog, but like here I have no reply button anywhere.
So I have to quote in order to reply.
And Yay the site is back!
Hi there CG!
yep, the reply function has been messed up for everybody.
