I love that scene where they are stowaways and are shown hiding inside barrels in one shot as the guards search for them and then when the guard leaves, are shown playing cards. Seconds later the guards return and they are back in their barrels again... ha ha, crazy stuff!

Wasn't it because he decided that his humour was of a more visual nature, and he preferred to keep it that way??
