There is no air in a vacuum

I am not sure why vacuum cleaners do not explode. If there is no air or at least very little air in a vacuum then it would stand to reason that the inside of the vacuum cleaner would have an air pressure of near zero and the external air pressure around the vacuum cleaner at sea level would be around 14 pounds per square inch. Therefore the vacuum should implode just as a submarine does when it goes below its dive depth. Go figure that one out.

Remember whatever the temperature of the room you are in is, it is always room temperature.

A pair of pants, a pair of glasses and so on are called a pair because they are made up of two similar parts or two mirror image parts. So why is a shirt not called a pair of shirts. Is it because there are buttons on one side and button holes on the other?

Why do men's and women's shirts have buttons on different sides?

Does a shirt labeled unisex have buttons on both sides, to prevent people from becoming confused?

Ski Diving without a parachute should be the very last thing on your bucket list, because if you put it in any other place on the list you will never complete the list and therefore be a failure at doing everything you wanted to accomplish in life.

I recently met a person who grew up in LA and had never been outside the city limits. So he thought there where at most 16 stars in the sky and that all the science programs on TV and all the magazines like discovery, national geographic, and Scientific America where faking everything. Then he went to the Grand Canyon and saw the night sky. He had a major heart attack, and now refuses to look upward, even if there is something really interesting to observe like a super cell thunder storm showing a hook echo on Doppler Radar about to spawn a tornado. And I thought I was weird.
