Fonts problem in localized DS2

AttachmentSize

Hallo to everyone in this forum!
I have 4 license CD of DS2 localized by 1C Studios (russian localization). I have a problem with the fonts in this version of DS2.

For some reason when I type 1 letter or number I can see only top pixels of that symbol in the editbox.
Then, if I type 2 letters or numbers - I can see top half of that symbols stretched to the height of the editbox.
And only when I type 3 symbols they become of normal size and shapes.

For capital letters, when I type 1 letter I can see halfstretched symbol, as for 2 non capital, and 2 capital letters become normal.

It doesn't matter if I type cyrillic letters or latinic, both are broken.
The letters are broken not only in editbox but in any peace of text in the stats, skills, names etc.
In English version (Steam) - all is well.
This problem starts from installing the game on win7, previously I played DS2 on winXP and there were no problems.

I believe the problem is in those two files in the attachment, at least after their deletion the game becomes English, but font problems disappears.
Screenshots are not mine but they are of the same problem.

Can someone advice any way to solve this problem?

Looks like it could be a case of missing textures, or like somehow an outdated system of calling on the local language. Not really sure how to fix.

I was searching inside those language files for font textures and found that fonts are alright - all textures are in .dds and nothing is missing.
That might be your second thought.

Anyway - thanks! Will be waiting for someone who is sure)

Maybe there is a way to force DS2 from using .dds fonts, but using truetype fonts instead?
