The Realm of Kings.

I been wondering around the DS2 Realm of Kings map, wish I understood a little bit about mapping because it would be fun to play Realm of Kings again where all the things worked like vendors,quests,hireable characters and such. However I could not figure out mapping in DS1 so there is little hope of figuring it out in DS2. I will just stick to making weapons and armor. I may just have to get out my DS1 disk 1 and have a go at Realm of Kings the old way.

Okay just because I said I might I did. Started Realm of Kings (DS1 Version) either late last night or very early this morning. I was quite sure that there where hireable characters somewhere on the map but I can not find any. All the vendors are present where I remember them being and so are all the quest givers.
It has been a few years since I was last in the DS1 Realm of Kings but I know there where hireable characters like one at the first vendor after the gargoyle swarm (a right turn before going down the big hill). Did I have a custom mod? I sure hope my mind is not going south for the winter!
This map I like, and I actually need to finish it. I have been thinking of adding more quests and maybe doing a bit of modding on it. Haven't played this one in awhile, what do you think?
