modding or playing

Shadow Watcher's picture

modding or playing the game which is more fun? For me modding started years ago when I took apart my father's very expensive watch and attempted to reassemble it better. Happy there are games to mod as if one makes a mess of things you can reinstall it to a working point and not have to take it to a watch repair store~!

Prefer playing, but to get it looking/working the way I want one must MOD. Not much fun playing the same old way so its good that there are a few variations. Not much surprise factor when your the one changing the 'rules'. So, its good that at least a few are still doing something with the game.
Sometimes a brainstorm hits me and the only way to alleviate that nagging brain cluster is to MOD until utter failure. If I get frustrated I got knitting supplies.

I still enjoy the original DS and LoA, but modding really adds something for me. The ability to put something of myself into the game (so to speak) is super fun. I guess I have Bare Elf to mostly thank for piquing my interest in modding. I was so happy to find "Girl Armor"; finally no more boring fugly armor... Smile
