Fix all the things!

This is how I'm feeling right about now. Since I got the new Hard-drive for my Computer (Nothing special, just a humble 250 Gigs. It's ONLY for my games anyway.)

I've been overhauling my three computers.
1. The Tower. Got a new Hard-drive and got it cleared of all that junkware that Win7 cocks onto it. Currently getting all my games on there, Skyrim, Fallout 3/New Vegas, etc, with mods installed and archived, everything optimized for fluent transitioning and easy finding of files, while keeping the Desktop clear to be an effective workspace for me. You should see how messy it gets after a project of, say, installing a particularly complex mod with a lot of patches for other complex mods. (My god.) But then you should see the grin on my face every time I get it cleaned up. I feel accomplished, and I learned some stuffs from it.

2. My ASUS laptop. Nothing impressive, the most this little punk can manage is Surgeon Simulator on it's lowest Graphics. And even then, the response time leaves a lot to be desired. So I'm currently getting all my important and wanted info onto a USB drive with plans to reset it to Factory Settings (Again. But this time I've a better plan for never letting it get so crowded again. Which it inevitably will, because this is the one I use for browsing/socializing/etc.) as to fix up it's shoddy performance. I'm going to remove the junkware, tweak it some to make it run better for light gaming. (Age of Empires II, Dungeon Siege II, Maybe Sims if I can be bothered by it.)

3. My 'new' Compaq laptop. My grandpa said that if I can restore this computer to working decently, I can just have it. Turns out it was running really slow, so he just bought a new one. If only the man had come to me first, but, I have a free new laptop. Granted, it isn't capable of much, but I'll probably keep Doccuments/Notes/Schoolstuffs on it. Might even transition my socializing and internet browsing to that one, if it's able to work at an acceptable pace. Granted, it's only like 4 years old (As old as Reach, The Toshiba I had before it was STOLEN. RRRGH.) so maybe it will be alright. If not, it can certainly handle multiple instances of the only MMO I play. Wonderland online. It's cute, shut up.

I'm also cleaning my room, getting my station set up, and soon with plans to bleach the entire curse'n house so I can hopefully get rid of the ANTS. WHY THE ANTS, OF ALL THINGS. IT'S ALREADY HOT IN MY ROOM, HAVEN'T I SUFFERED ENOUGH?

The only thing I really need for me to consider my room 'Complete' is to paint the computer desk black (All my other furniture is black or white, so this hulking brown thing breaks the mojo a bit.) and some shelves over my bed in an 'L' along the wall. It's been four months since I moved in, one would have thought that I'd have my room up to date by now.

The shelves, when I'm done, is going to look REALLY cool. I have the Skyrim map hanging directly over my head when I sleep, so when I install these shelves, there will be a shelf on one side of the map, and it continues along the wall into an 'L' on the other side. Heck, might just take some pictures to show off when I got it. I'm excited, although I suppose the specifications of my room don't matter to most folk who aren't 40, balding, and creepy.

I also want to cut a small hole into my entertainment center, because the back 'wall' of the T.V space isn't sturdy enough to hold the T.V I have. So instead I have to have the T.V on the stand, and so half of the aforementioned stand hangs over the front. Rather precarious. I fully intend to cut a small rectangular hole into the back 'wall' of it so's I can slide the stand further back. That will also act as sort of a hook if the T.V were to be pushed forward. Yeah, that thing isn't going to fall when I do that.

Ahh. So many things I want to do before milady moves in..

The best way to remove the Aunts is to get the Ants some uncles. So tell the ants if they will leave your house you will hook them up with some uncles Smile Or show them the light at the end of the tunnel which ever end you want and tell them it is the glow of a sugar fountain.

White vinegar is an effective and safe ant repellant. If you make a 50/50 mixture and spray the affected areas you should notice an improvement. You can also spray it right on the ants to kill them. The vinegar "salad dressing" smell will go away when the mixture dries. (Also good for cleaning windows.) If that doesn't help you probably should consider uncles.
