Woo, Lyfe. Here's some updates about nothing particularly important.

I might jump back on DS2 in a bit soon because I've been craving some more.. Micro-Strategy slaughterin'. I've been playing Dragon's Dogma, (Freaking AMAZING game, might I add, I HIGHLY recommend it) and while it is a very strategy-ous game, it's more like Dark Souls rather than.. like, the original Dragon Age.
Actually, speaking of Dragon Age, except for the more precise micromanaging, I always felt it played very similarly to DS except it's third person over-the-shoulder more than third person bird's-eye. Hell, even the rings around the characters are there. While I'm aware, too, that isn't a uniquely DS feature, I also can't name any other games that have it that aren't RTS.

Soon I'm going to wipe my laptop clean, re-set it to factory standards, and download Win10 as I'm excited to try it out. If it's really as good as everyone says and not as insufferable as Win8 is to me, I'm going to buy a legit copy of Win7 and get an upgrade from there. Why not just buy Win10? Because I imagine the upgrade would be cheaper, Haha. If it's not though, I'll just grab Win10 itself.

After which I'll reinstall DS2BW and get my mods together again and probably play for a bit. Wee. I believe I'm going to carry my party through the Legendary Mod, whilst I'm at it. Haven't ever played one of the imported questlines to completeion, although I think I made it to the Droog village in the imported original. Anyone know why after a long while of playing in the original game, your character's face portrait is replaced by a 40-something creep? Is that some attempt at showing the passage of time? Because it failed. xD

Also soon I plan to get my G.E.D and skip Senior year of high school altogether. As soon I want to get a job and move out with milady. I really don't want to be one of the people to have to juggle work and school, I can hardly handle one and I don't believe it's a challenge I could overcome. I believe then, without the threat of school looming in the distance and the only annoying friend visiting me being my work, I might really have enough want to actually learn some stuff about modding. I am seriously interested.. I just cannae find the drive to do it, you know? I don't really want to learn coding or scripting, but only because it looks incredibly intimidating... but maybe it isn't so bad? You could almost say I'm afraid of challenge, but really I'm not, I'm just overwhelmed by it easier than I should be. But once school isn't a problem, I can't imagine I WON'T have the drive to do it.

Even during the summer, when there's the eventuality of returning to school crawling toward me from over the horizon, it still makes learning things that 'I' want to learn so much more.. daunting. School always makes me feel like whatever 'I' want to learn doesn't matter. Maybe that's a problem in our educational system or maybe it's just me? Who knows.

Eventide!
