Chatting with Dornek Firehammer

I was lucky that both my computers have all the same game files on them, because when my primary computer failed to boot and also shorted out two wall outlets, I was able to start a new game on my secondary computer Dance So I begin again playing Legends of Utrae with Adepts and Kathy's Zombie and Shied mod. Currently We are on our way to Meren and Taking a break at the location where Dornek Firehammer and Snow Tracker are hanging out at the exit of the ancient temple. Debating on if I should clear Dornek's Quarry or not. I dislike Dornek as he is such a wimp not being able to keep the monsters out of his quarry. Anyway I have noted over the may years of Playing DS1 and LoA that when shooting at a group of barrels to obtain the loot within if one shoots at the barrel at the back often times your ranger will shoot at the barrels in front and keep shooting until all the blocking barrels are removed. Has anyone else noted that? Think I found ideas for new monsters at least for those of us in the United States. A Hillary Zombie and Trump Beast. They could both be monster bosses as one already is Tongue At least here in California we can now be legally stoned so we can overlook politics (I do that normally except for the comedy value). Now it will just be sillier. Like the time I got stoned about 3 miles from home and it took me six hours to find my apartment. Insane

Yes, Dornek is a wimpy twit. I've always tried positioning an archer so as to hit more Barrels (the Red ones work best )

The weather is suposed to be nice so I may walk in the Patade tomorrow Glasses

Insane Dwarf

My boyfriend noticed the thing with the barrels and told me about it a bit ago. It's handy. Explosive powder works pretty well for that also.

Dornek could have enlisted help from the SnowTracker, but they both seem to be happy just standing where they are. In the freezing cold and snow, when all either has to do to get shelter is move a few feet back into the temple. Plus, these npcs are lazy and try to get help for even the most mundane of tasks. "Fetch my axe!" "Kill that swamp monster!" Gosh! Insane

I was actually going to make a blond zombie woman for Hillary, but Donald was an issue because we don't have any Dungeon Siege heads that would support that huge fluffy dead squirrel he keeps on his head. I was going to have them fight the same mean guys and then tinker with the screenshots to make them look like they were battling each other and then died in the end. I decided the death part would be too mean and in bad taste, even if I do refer to them as jerkface and giant jerkfaced douche (obviously , that would be Donald). Shock

Sorry, I don't mean to offend anybody who likes either of them, I really just kid around, for the most part. Not trying to start any political arguments, those are bad. I'm mostly just cranky because I spent 3 hours in the hospital emergency room last night. Turn's out I'm okay (whew!) but it was pretty harrowing for a while.

Massachusetts also passed the initiative to legalize recreational marijuana. Now you can keep an ounce on your person, and ten ounces at home if it's in some sort of lock box. I don't drink or use recreational drugs, but I supported that particular ballot question. It's stupid *not* to legalize pot, imo.

Also supported the ballot question to stop cruel confinement of animals being raised for food. They are being kept in cages where they can't even turn around or stand up and just lay around in their own shit. Horrid. I used a bad word, I know and sorry. "Poopy" just didn't fit with how I feel about the situation.

ANYWAY... I'm VERY glad that political shenanigans stuff is over with, at least for a while.

Now I can focus my ire on TV commercials for Christmas stuff that started the day after Halloween. Arrrrrrgh! Angry

I agree that almost all of the npcs are lazy and try to get help for even the most mundane of tasks. "Fetch my axe!" "Kill that swamp monster!". However if they were not lazy, then we would not have any quests to solve. It would be kind of cool if when you received the quest from the NPC that a summon spell for that NPC dropped next to the NPC so that you could take them along with you on the quest without having to change your party. This would not apply of course for hireable characters that hand out quests.

"Summons Dornek to get off his lazy butt and come help clear his own damn quarry." Laughing out loud
