the flood

on 29th July, at night there was tornado in a small town near me and the weather man would break on tv and talk about it.. at 8:30pm the sun was still out my creek was dry....it started raining and by 9:30pm had 4 feet of water in basement where my car was parked...so none the less i lost my only transportation to a flood...i called insurance (State Farm) i might add State Farm sucks so dont get them...been dealing with them for the last month...my car was only worth 5k.....and most cars now are over 15k...so all of August, i had very little help with my place, my lawnmowers were in the flood, i did manage to get someone to take me to a gas station and bought some oil and fixed one lawnmower but other was unable to fix.. so mowed 1 time in august...the flood left rocks everywhere so been picking up rocks with a wheelbarrow and hauling them back to a creek bed.. i still have no car.. but been looking at some under 4k online. i go over 2 weeks without going to a grocery store.. i have a friend that has took me 2 times and my neighbor helped me 1 time. i seem to run out of milk and bread alot, not sure why.

anyways enough about the flood... had issue with windows 11 it made the task bar and start menu not work so got it fixed today. Win 11 has its good and bad guess it will release in october.

i quit subbing to swtor, so i have more time for other things.

i see the new map is getting updated so will test it when next version is released.

"note" wolfyDE works well on the new map Wink

Sry bout the flood & ur car. Guess it doesn't help you if I point out the irony of fate, it kinda was the car that caused the flood wasn't it...

Who is this wolfyDE and what map is he making?

i think the map in question is yours...and after seeing some new fairies i may have to make one myself...as for WolfyDE, i think its a wolf that hasnt been updated in years Tongue

Those things seem to be staple items. Whenever there is a bad snowstorm coming around here people go a bit crazy at the market getting their milk and bread.

I'm very sorry to read about the flood. Have you thought about ordering food online at someplace like Amazon? I've been doing that for about a year now and it works out very well. I hope I don't seem like a jerk to say this but at least the living quarters of your house weren't damaged. Being homeless would make the issue way more difficult and you already have enough to worry about.

I live in Massachusetts. If you are in the general vicinity, send me a pm. I've got stuff to make a care package. Hope things get better soon.

the underneath of the house has fiberglass showing under the floor and some of the dirt was washed out around the cement blocks...and the roof had a leak so the ceilings in half the house are brown stained, in fact a closet is so bad the ceiling tiles started molding.

Well damn, that sucks. I assumed the house damage was confined to your cellar. Sorry you have to go through this.
