I was riding my bicycle through Santa Clara County, where the public transportation system is Called Valley Transportation Authority or VTA. All the buses have a big VTA logo on their sides. However I over the last few weeks have noticed refrigerated trucks with almost the same logo VTA and I thought to myself maybe they take dead people to work and on shopping trips. It turns out however the company name is Vegetarian Trucking Association. That gave me the idea to think of other companies with the logo VTA.

So yeah, it is still Valentine's Day (here), for a little while. Tomorrow, however, marks the celebration of Lupercalia, a festival that may be of interest to our various wolfy fans.

Well, I am having cataract surgery today (and that is more common for people over 40, not 55 as some other web page said. Not any where near 55 TYVM. The closest I have come to 55 is the speed limit on the highway!)

A lot has gone down in the time I've been gone.

Be warned that what follows is a long rant/vent, and although I know that this website isn't 'exactly' the place for personal sob-stories, I've found people here to always be very welcoming and a blog is a good place as any to collect my thoughts. Of course, none of you here are obligated to read this at all, and I wouldn't blame you. It's a bummer piece!

Hey everybody-

So things have been kind of up in the air for me lately. I think I mentioned that my cat, Stanley (15 1/2 years of age)is diabetic. He has had that for about a year and was doing really well. Then about a month ago his appetite started decking,,, bot horribly, at first just more off than on.
