I was shopping for some new tee-shirts as I only own 12 long sleeve tees, 44 tank tops, and 30 short Sleeve Tees. One can never have enough Tee Shirts. When I am not in my cycling gear which is mostly cycling shorts and racer-back jerseys I am in Tee Shirts and shorts. I do not own a dress, have three skirts and two pair of jeans. They are for places where shorts are not allowed or practical. Like nice restaurants and arc welding. Found some shirts with great logos. blogs: |

Wok Sign? |
||
Submitted by bare_elf on Tue, 2017-09-05 01:44
I am sure by now everyone at least in the USA has seen and heard the electronic pedestrian walk signs. Push the button and if the light is against you it says Wait Wait. When the light is with you it says the walk sign is on to cross (whatever street). These signs would make great free advertising for a Chinese Restaurant. Let me explain. First you name the restaurant "Woksign", second instead of an open or closed sign you have an electronic sign that shows a person walking and a speaker in the door says Wok On In. blogs: |

HOT |

Someone forgot to turn on the air conditioner (coastal fog and wind from the pacific). Yesterday it was 110 and today 106. Right now at 9:45 PM it is 87 degrees outside and hotter inside. Sweating so much I feel like I just got out of the shower and forgot to dry off. I would go for a walk but putting on shorts and a top seems like to much effort. It should be cooler tomorrow like 87 when the sun is out. Hope so as I am going from not being able to ride my bike or take a walk. blogs: |

Can you move a savegame from BW to DS2? |
||
Submitted by garthagain on Fri, 2017-08-25 08:54
Is there any way to move a Broken World savegame to Dungeon Siege 2? It's easy enough to move them from DS2MOD AND DS2 to Broken World, but not visa versa. Tried some changes in the savegame files, but they didn't work. blogs: |

E-clipse? |

I was out with friends on the day of the Eclipse, not total here but about 3/4. One of the set of friends brought their Kids. One of them is a boy about 16 I think. He asked me questions about the Eclipse and other things. We will leave the other things to your imagination since telling you would violate site rules. Now the Eclipse question. Where there Eclipses before 1971? Both of my parents said yes. Now how can that be possible when before 1971 there was no e-mail or anything else to do with the Internet. blogs: |

An efficient way to stitch all region radars at once |
||
Submitted by garthagain on Mon, 2017-08-14 15:18
Every time you generate mipmaps, or change or add anything in a region, you will get stalling, if the ajoining regions aren't restitched. Quite often I do work on several regions at a time, but don't do the stitching until all the work is done. What I do is open the region with the main start positions, and stitch all the regions from there, then save the region. This method saves a lot of time, and has always worked for me. Note; Whatever you do, don't use the "batch generate mipmips". You won't like the results. blogs: |

DS2 Shop Keeper settings .... how do you adjust them? |
||
Submitted by garthagain on Sun, 2017-08-13 09:37
Am using the DS2 Shopkeeper settings in my updated map, for example; "Store ... local-spec" = "act_3_armor_store" , "store-add-crafted .... template base" = "amr_a3". Have tryed several things to modify the basic store settings, such as quests from the map, but nothing changes. Always end up with the basic store ingame. I would like them to change, and add in special items. [EDIT]- Checked out the Veteran and Elite maps, and the shops do upgrade, just as in the Original map. So that's good. blogs: |
