A Flick for opening Veteran and Elite levels in your map

There may modders still trying to figure out how to open the Veteran and Elite levels in their map. There is a relevant post on Siege The Day that helped me figure it out.

Dawn of the Third Age Preview

Did a preview video. It's the Morden siege of Eastport. I used a level 84 character in the Elite map.

Run out of space on drive C for your games? .... The Solution

Have you run out of room on drive C for your games? Is your life in need of saving?
What you need is a program called " Link Shell Extension". It's super easy to use, and with it you can move anything ( that can be moved) from anywhere to anywhere, and it will still be found by whatever is looking for it. It does this by creating a 'Symbolic Link" in the place you moved the file from. The link itself has no size, and is only a glorified shortcut.
I moved all my games and most other programs to drive E some time ago and it works seamlessly, I've never had a problem.

The Ordenador, a Texture Optimizer

This tool is on the Nexus. I used it on the Dungeon Seige textures I made and it did an excellent job. It doesn't work for DS RAW files, but it does work for DDS textures. It will automatically resize a large batch of texures, correct some things, and make new mip maps. For example; if you have a file of various sized textures ..... say 1024x1024, 512x512, and you want them all 512x512 or 256x256, you just do the settings and go.

A good program for making PDFs

I just started composing a PDF file for my Dawn of the Third Age map and discovered I have a really good program for doing so; Apache Open Office.
It is free source, and I like it better than the Microsoft Office I used on my old machine. Check it out if you are in need. It has all the same features as the MS Office, and it's free.
