Time for tea

A while back I had downloaded gmax and started playing with it. Pretty fun, sort of cyber playdoh. I made the 'n00b" mace, the first project but decided it looked much too drab. I made another, somehow got it pink and instead of spikes it had rows of pink teapots on it. Now, mind you, this was back in March. I had to re-download the program because it went kapooey along with some other stuff on another computer. So. I guess in the coming weeks I will be playing around with it....along with trying to gather some learning materials to make some models and maybe some armor. I know this will take awhile, but I gots me some smarts, so methinks I can do it....eventually. If any other experienced folks have any suggestions, comments, offers of electronic handholdong, nagging ect.. please feel free to let me know. I know I have lots to learn. Periodically, I may post some pics so you guys can fall over laughing at them and at their creator, "Queen n00blet". Primary goal: 1.) revamped female model Secondary goal: 3.)Tertiary goal: blogs: |

How about some new footwear... pink bunny slippers? :silly:
Have fun with it Kathy.
Heh, that may not be so far off the mark Sharkull. I always wondered if I could make a pair of hightop sneakers in addition to those bunny slippers...

Just remember that the goal is always to do everything in less polygons, so that the game doesn't slow down. My recollection of the teapot is that a single teapot has too many polys to be usable, so a whole mace-full (does that term exist?) would be over the top.
Bunny slippers with seven polys each - that's what we need!

Then bunny slippers will be my goal! I own 'em, I love 'em. The bunny slippers should have an armor rating of 25 and be very pink.

Haha, they should be neon pink if possible.
Hmmmmmm... I wonder how much of a Dexterity bonus (or penalty?!?) there would be when you have two very rambunctious bunnies strapped to your feet! :silly: Running faster would be likely, but would they have minds of their own and want to run away from predators?
+5 to hoppity-ness... (+5 dexterity)
+5 amusement (+5 intelligence)

hheh heh, thanks for the supportive comments you guys. Bunny Powah!

From the Forge...
The maple leaf shape might make a decent flanged mace. Weapons are a good starter project, as they don't need much more than a template to add them to the game.
For extra credit, add a weapon effect that makes the victim's hair sticky!!! (But waering bunny slippers would give immunity).

LOL, too funny. Yes that would make quite a nasty weapon, with maybe a percentage to make sticky (freeze) dependent upon the character's strength.
