Hey all...wow, been awhile since I logged on here. For nostalgia and great dislike of DS2 and DS3 I found a reliable torrent of DS1 and mounted the .iso's on some throwaway disks and got it working. But enough about me...good to see there is at least 1 last bastion of DS'ers left. Planet Dungeon Siege is up, but some of the tutorials are missing. I still remember basic stuff like creating your own armor, and a little bit about forcing them to be in NPC's inventory but I can't get a hang of skinning. I managed to scrap together the tools for it but I can't get it to work for my life. I'm working on a semi-conversion, recreating US Army Ranger school at Fort Benning...just a basic medium sized map going over urban, forest, mountain, artic, swamp and back to urban phases. I have 3ds max 9 but can't get the SiegeMax plugins to work with it, and gmax is unsupported and for some reason can't find a driver to use so I cant work SiegeMax to begin with...unless anyone has a saved mod of models like m16a2's, ak74u's or something along those lines I'll probably have to do with dragon miniguns lol And also even though I've been making the Multicam, ACU and BDU skins for armor I can't seem to get them to stick in game...I've modified the .gas that goes with the .raw...even tried tanking it in PSD form and it won't use my new skins. So I guess what I am asking is if anyone knows how to skin (properly) and is it possible for making the weapons for my mod? Thanks again guys and hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years blogs: |
