Friday was a bad day.

Some days are worse than others and this past Friday was in the top 10 of the worse days I have ever had. I started out about 9 AM to take a bicycle ride to Mountain View. Things where going well until I was forced into a curb by a car driving to close to me. This caused me to crash and scrape up my right knee. Looked like I was a little kid who tipped over the first time her training wheels where taken off. Bandaged my knee and continued on. Stopped in Shore Line Park to eat my lunch and was pooped on by a very large bird. Lunch Spoiled and both legs where purple. Stopped in a rest room and cleaned myself up and continued on to where I normally turn around to go home. At this point my left leg was feeling a bit strange. After a few more miles my left leg was in a great deal of pain. So I stopped to get off my bicycle and discovered I could not put any pressure on my leg. It took me about 5 minutes to get off the bicycle. I sat down and discovered I could not stand up again. Had to ask for help to get back up. Knowing I could not ride home and all of my friends and relations where out of town I had to call a Taxi to take me the remaining 10 miles home. The Taxi Cab Driver had to carry my bicycle up the stairs and two of my neighbors had to help me up the stairs. I could tell nothing was damaged seriously because I could move all my joints and all the muscles looked normal so no tendon damage or broken bones. I did nothing yesterday but rest and my leg was feeling somewhat better. I still could not navigate the stairs so I had to order pizza as there was no food in the house (I had planned to go shopping when I got home Friday). Today I was feeling somewhat better so I went to the Grocery store and walked half a mile after that without to much pain. Tomorrow I will see if I can get a bit farther. I am so bored I think I will drink a bottle of wine followed by a six pack of beer, pass out and see what tomorrow brings.
