I did the trouble shooting for tank creator a few days ago and was all like, gosh it doesn't work, it's only browsing folders! Derp. It's *supposed* to browse folders. The only thing I can think of is I haven't played or modded Dungeon Siege for a couple of years. Yeah...that's the ticket! I'm going with that excuse. So once it dawned on me what the issue was I played around changing a few mods and made a mini mod. A "Bow of Skill", a progressive weapon that increases in damage with ranged skill. NO big whoop, it's been done and I made one for LoA several years ago; this one works with base DS as well as LoA.

You've made a "Bow of Skill" mini mod have you, you wouldn't mind sharing that info with a fellow Derp would you, I'm always inspecting mods to see how they work and bows and melee weapons are high on my list at the moment.

Most of the credit goes to ghastley, as I modified his progressive axe from his "Little Red Ridinghood" mod from a long time ago. I know since then people have made weapons that do not need to be re-equipped in order to gain in power, but you will find that this bow does need to be re-equipped at every ranged level.
It's worth mentioning that DS Revived and DS Revived LoA have a bow damage bonus that increases with dexterity, a nifty little feature.
I found this picture while cleaning out some folders last night and it made me laugh, because that was exactly how I felt.
