Frickin' Freezing

I ran out of heating oil Wednesday night so no heat. The fuel company is supposed to come today *crossing my fingers*. Oh wait, my fingers are too stiff with cold to cross. It's frickin' freezing in here! It's our own stupid fault for not checking the oil tank sooner. I have a couple of space heaters and am completely bundled up. Plus I got a Warmie for Christmas! Warmies® Animal Wraps (20”) are fully microwavable to provide hours of soothing warmth and comfort. These adorable neck wraps are scented with real dried French lavender and are perfectly weighted to provide a positive sensory experience. Warmies® Animal Wraps are perfect for relieving stress and soothing aches and pains. It's really cute and warm and I'm pretty sure it smells much better than a real sloth. I just feel vaguely guilty about microwaving it...

In this crisis, it is a good thing your warmie's French lavender had been real dried rather than say artificial dried or part dried.
Crossing my fingers for you, for your heating oil delivery.
Part dried lavender could be slightly damp and nobody likes that. I am grateful that the lavender itself was real, but I have no proof of its fancy-pants French origins. My sister grows lavender which is just as nice as any grown in France.
Thanks for thinking of me. The heating oil arrived late Friday afternoon while it was snowing. I was so relieved because Saturday was really cold, especially at night. 14 degrees F which I guess is -10 C. Brrrr!
Strange that they made a point of it being French lavender (lavandula dentata), as the English lavender (lavendula angustifolia) is the perfumed one. The French variety is used more as a culinary herb, and I doubt that anyone intends to eat their Warmie, even after it's microwaved.
I have not been tempted to eat the Warmie. I do feel strange microwaving it like a bag of popcorn though. I didn't realize the differences between types of lavender and now I feel like a dweeb. Thanks a bunch ghastely!!
