I am not sure what map to play/test/debug next. It has become a blur with all the maps looking like I was just there a few minutes ago. Direction I desire. I can not go any farther with Diabloish since I can not get to the area of level 3 dungeon. I am a bit Yesterhavened out as I can play the map with my eyes closed in just over an hour. I could do Ehb again, or maybe LoA or Utraean Peninsula. What would you suggest Irwin KillerGremal? blogs: |

Converting one of my old armor mods from DS1 to DS2 |

I was asked if I could convert Girl Armor v5 to work with the Adepts Mod for DS2. I could but it would take quite some time as just to do the 96 type 01 armors to ds2 would require redrawing all 96 so that they had an alpha channel. Then copying each 17 times to support the female, male, dwarf and halfgiant skins. Creating a ground armor for each. Renaming each of the 96 custom inventory icons and adding an alpha channel to each. Renaming each of the 1728 the resulting images so that they support DS2 naming conventions. blogs: |

Equipped Swords Can't Glow :( |

I've been trying to make a glowing sword for awhile. Theoretically it should have worked the first time I did it, but I thought I made an error. I tested glow on a lemon tree and two different types of DS1 Drakes, and they worked. Then I thought to try throwing the sword on the ground to see if it would glow. Oddly it glowed while on the ground but not equipped! I'm not sure why the glow shader doesn't work while the sword is equipped. Anyone have any ideas? Reading the thread called shiny sword in DS2 truly brought back memories. All the people from long ago all the masters of modding the game. It made me smile, cry, and wonder where everyone is today. I miss them even though at the time I was really just a n00b modder. I still feel deep in my heart that i will never live up to the talent, ideas, skills of the masters. There is a good deal of history prior to the events that created the game called Dungeon Siege 1. I wonder if anyone has ever thought to create a map that covers at least part of the first age the founding of the empire of stars, Or even a map of the second and tenth legeons when they first came to Ehb? That might be an interesting path to follow. Would we call it Dungeon Siege O? Just some random thoughts. blogs: |
