But I actually have some DS related news for you guys. Scott Bilas, if you remember him, recently posted a page on his site where he has compiled together everything he has worked on that is related to Dungeon Siege.

You'll find presentations that he gave, information on skrit, notes on the game engine and so on.

Reading through it made me a bit nostalgic. ^^

Within the next 70 hours or so the software on the servers we use will be upgraded. We shouldn't notice anything but if you do you will know what's going on. Provided you read this.. kind of short notice.

The software being updated is not Drupal or the database. Those will be updated by myself however at a later date.

Demigod, published by Stardock, is going gold and will be available in US and Canadian stores on April 14th. The price is set to $39.95 (assuming US currency) for the standard edition.

About the game:

The all father has vanished, creating an opening in the pantheon. To fill the void, Demigods from across from the mortal world must wage war against one another in a bid to ascend to true godhood.

Japanese Square Enix are going to work with GPG and publish their Supreme Commander 2.

I don't have much to say about this since I've never tried Supreme Commander, I've always liked how it looks and seems to play though. Square Enix are the people who makes the Final Fantasy games so they will probably be good for GPG. Development has already begun according to what I've read so hopefully we'll see the game in two or three years.

For some reason the database server went offline and the site was unavailable, well except for this and the drupal error page before I got rid of that one. I suspect the gremals.. It seems like everything is working again though. I took the opportunity to do a database repair as well so maybe things will even be better now. ^^

Time for a new server upgrade. The site will be down between 10 PM MST on Friday, October 17th.
