Because of limited time caused by the mythical phenomena called "real life" Strider no longer has the necessary time for serving as forum administrator for this site, and has asked to step down as such. He will still continue to be a member though.

It is much thanks to him that I still have hair on my head so I would like to publicly thank him for the valuable feedback and time that he has given as a member of our fine staff. Oh, and thanks for all the trout! :trout:

It is with much pleasure that I announce the release of Team Archon's next milestone of the Ultima 6 Project, Milestone 3 for Dungeon Siege 1 (PC and Mac). Some things to look forward to in this release:

* New areas to explore ( Spider Cave, Buccaneer's Den, Yew, Paws, and Continental Britannia )
* Enhancements to existing areas (Swamp Cave, Sewers, Britain, Cove )
* Gargoyles, both winged and wingless (intro only)
* Numerous enhancements to the core gameplay such as:

* Complex branching conversation system
* Class based equip requirements
* Party banters

The other day Lone Knight and I were discussing things that could help improve the popularity of the game, and bring more members to the community. One of those things is if the DS movie turns out to be a hit - I really hope it will.

Granted Boll has a very poor trackrecord, but watching the trailer on what appears to be the movie's official site does make me a bit hopeful that it will actually be alright. And I really like that the story isn't just about going after a bad guy but also about saving your love - not a unique storyline but one that I enjoy. It also seems like the movie will feature good music and nice effects.

I doubt I have to point out that Strumpets test donuts was an April fool's prank. ^^

Some liked it some didn't, and some wanted to square dance on my feet.

The reason it started early was because of timezones..

Now for some real news. Things are actually happening behind the curtains and I think those changes will be well received once it is time. I just need to find my muse first for the second theme that this site will be using.

Ok, it is finally time to reveal what I and the folks over at the Forge
have been planning.

Because of the waning interest in Dungeon Siege and Dungeon Siege II;
Herena Forge and Siege the Day will be changing their formats to provide
more interesting information on topics of broader interest.

Both sites intend to keep their Dungeon Siege material available for
downloading and the forums available in read only format.

Siege the Day will change its name to “Strumpets Test Donuts”. The format
will be much like the Cooking Channel of Cable TV fame. There will be
forums for baked goods, party suggestions, dinner party stories with both
