Before hauling my game computer over to where I share an internet connection. I decided ti try something, got out the DVDs with the files from the old computer and just copied the BW files from it and then tried installing BW and that worked great :dance3: :dance1: :dance2:

Installed the legendary Mod and while DS2 and BW work fine for some reason I am getting NO experience while playing :censored: :censored: :censored:

A sledgehammer is looking better and better :bat:

Still getting a Critical failure error when trying to play DS1 with LOA installed.

Have tried all compatibility packs and some stuff found on-line and the only way to play DS1 is without LOA installed or, If I take my game computer over to where I have a shared internet connection and connect it to the internet everything works fine :SIGH:

DS1 vs DS2

I have been playing DS1/LoA Legends of Utrae to be exact. Doing this I have discovered things I like about both DS1 and DS2 and things I dislike about both.

How did the designers of DS2 get it so wrong? Bronze Age Composite bows where quite accurate at ranges up to 46 meters. That is to say bows from over 4000 years ago have ranges greater by 36 meters than any Bow in DS2. The other weapons and armor, along with towns and fortifications found in DS2 are based on early medieval equipment, about 900 years ago. So how did the designers of DS2 get ranged weapons so totally wrong?

At last count there's 455 members and they'd like to get it to over 500. I believe that it can only help this site to have more members in the group, especially if anyone is looking for on-line play. Plus it would help promote SiegetheDay's strengths in modding and information about the game, something lacking in the Dungeon Siege Community though we intend to work on it.

Hey, I've been wondering if anyone has played Dungeon Siege 1 or Legends of Aranna on Windows 10. My computer keeps naggin me to upgrade, but I would hate for the game not to work. DS1 not DS2.
